Whim

The other day a Friend & I decided to try out a little something we had found a Pinterest (feel free to follow me! Button on the right side of blog.)

We bought cheap (Dollar Store!) Porcelain Dishes & Permanent Markers (Both Sharpie & BIC).  We did find that the BIC Permanent Markers worked much better- the Sharpie actually seemed to rub off when washed.

We wrote quotes or drew pictures and baked our dishes at 350' for 30 minutes.  Let the dishes cool and BAM!  Awesome, unique dishes. :)

Until next time, be crafty!

Very cute! It has been all over pinterest. It's cool so have confirmation that it really does work! I'll have to try it sometime.

Wow, this is amazing! I love the plate.
Such a good and cheap idea for gifts. I wish I had fancy handwriting like you though!

The hubby and I did this this week as well! I love yours! I wish I had your handwriting. Mine were kinda crappy because of my messy penmanship! lol
