Tis the Season.

I can feel an abundance of Fall weather-ness brewing.  I'm sure you've read tons beyond tons of blogs about all that's Fall already, and it's really, just begun. (Hoorah!)

Fall is by far my favorite Season. And by far, I mean....there is no comparison. The other Seasons have their perks, but Fall is just....perfection. Isn't it?
I mean, comfy sweaters, a slight chill, colorful leaves, warm drinks....LOVE.

This Fall, I'm looking forward to spending a good amount of time taking advantage of our back deck, Starbucks drinks, Pumpkin patches & lots of boots, sweaters, and scarves.

What are you most excited for in the Fall Season?

-Yes to Carrots Pomegranate Lip Butter- so hydrating! Perfect for Fall.
-White Chocolate Mocha- Perfect if you like your coffee a little sweeter.
-Top Knots never get old for me :)
-A sock bun- without a sock! In fact, I didn't even use a hair tie! (Advantage of Longggg Hair!)
-Relaxing on the deck with my Sweet. :)

Comfort Look

When I was in High School & College- I absolutely loved experimenting with makeup. Different colors, different products, different techniques.  As I've gotten older ( Mid-20's...really??)- and kind of gotten into a groove schedule-wise, I kind of know what I do like, what I don't like & what I have time for.  (Not to say that I'm not still trying new things!)

On Thursdays, it's my "two job day."  So I work from about 8am to 8pm.  About an hour before I have to head to my second job, I prep my face so I don't look like I've just worked an 8 hour day with a toddler. :)

I use three primary products and do my hair in a quick top knot (if I didn't choose to spend an hour straightening my hair the night before, blah!).

So, I thought I'd share with you a quick, super easy way to look fresh without going through a ridiculous amount of steps & products.

1. I apply Line Stiletto Eyeliner
2. Enough mascara to create the look that I'm going for- I really like Lancome & Clinique Mascaras
3. I use Revlon Spa Illuminator to give myself a dewy glow. I apply it the apples of my cheeks, bridge of my nose, on my forhead slightly above both brows, a dab on my chin.
* For a really fun trick, dab a little illuminator at the top of your lips- makes them look fuller. :)

A Bunch of Pictures of What I've Been Diggin' Lately

My go-to style (Probably way too often) is the top knot. It's quick, easy- and goes with nearly every outfit I come up with.

When I do let my hair down, I often have to be creative & pull it back in some way or another. It's way too frizzy, thick, curly...POOFy.  I like to use feminine accessories.

I generally go for pinkish lipsticks, this one is more of a Coral, from Sephora.  It looks more muted in the picture. It's slightly out of my comfort zone, which I like. I put it on as a pop when I'm not wearing much other makeup.  Also- it's hard to go wrong with a good red lipstick.

These sunglasses. They're so cute & vintagy. I got them for nearly $6 at Forever21 and wear them every chance I get.
