A Visitor

It's been a perfect kind of Morning thus far.  It's raining and gloomy, I have my Caramel Latte from Starbucks sitting in my favorite mug for me to enjoy, slowly.

Tomorrow my Mom will be arriving from Michigan so you'll have to forgive me in advance if my blog posts are few and far between.

I've missed my Mom (...and Dad...and Sister..) very much over the past several Months since seeing them last and I'm so overjoyed to get some bonding time with the Woman who raised me. :)

There is a new tea shop that has opened in our "Downtown Antique District" and I'm hoping to try it out and continue on my journey to love tea that I apparently haven't inherited from Mom.
We're also planning a trip to IKEA because well, it's awesome & my Mom could shop all day, any day if given the opportunity! :)
I'm looking forward to introducing her to "the boys". I've been prepping Gray and Jeremiah that my "Mommy" is coming to visit and she'll be coming to play with them a few times.  Gray has asked where she's from & what her middle name is. Ha :)
Jeremiah just nods and says "MiMi" (as he calls me).
My Mom is absolutely great with Kids- they always love her & I know these two little guys won't be exceptions.

I have a feeling some old movies, games of some sort, and lots of laughing will be involved in this next week.

What are some of your favorite things to do with your Families?

My Mom also has the best laugh...

Until next time, be thankful for your Family.

Have a great time with your mom and treasure every minute of it! I hope my daughter gets to move back soon! There's nothing like that mother-daughter friendship! I love it! Have a wonderful weekend!

When I first introduced my "kids" at work to my mom one of them called her Grandma. My boss just about died, but my mom loved it! Now we refer to her as "Grandma Leah!"
