I'm debating whether or not to do a short tutorial on how to do a fairly quick smokey-eye look.
Thoughts?
We went to a wedding this past Weekend and I was pretty happy with how my makeup turned out.

I have been journalling a lot lately.
To the Lord, to my future kids, for my Marriage, for myself.
I've found that it helps a lot.  I don't go back and read the entries as much as I initially thought I would, but I feel so much better writing out how I'm feeling, even if it's just "Lord, prepare me." or "This has been the worst week ever." Sort of thing.

Dear Diary

I'm trying my best to blog a bunch this week.

Partly to make up for my absence last week, but also because next week I'll be partying it up with Family in Michigan & may be around less :)

Do you keep a Journal?

Growing up, starting at a ripe age of....8ish?

I owned a Diary or 5.

I especially liked the little books that had a lock & key.

Felt so much more "legit" and like I had my very own little secret to protect.

(How funny is this?!)

Now, while blogging has been a great outlet for me, I still have one Journal that I write in from time to time.
I got it before getting married, with the intent of documenting my Married Life.
I dream of my Children reading it later on & forming some understanding on who their Parents are.

Being sick has given me an ample opportunity to curl up in bed and write some fun Marriage Memories over the past Year (shame) that I haven't touched the Journal.

Day Old Coffee

Good Morning, Darlings!

I'm currently doing my best to soak up some time off from work- and actually enjoy the Morning. Enter, coffee in my favorite mug, making my Hubster's lunch, having some devo time...and my blog :)

I hope you had a good weekend filled with everything you love.  For me, that means a little bit of something & more of nothing. :)  

This weekend, K & I went to Munson's Chocolate, had Mexican food, went on late night drives, and watched some of our favorite movies. We also hit up Barnes & Noble (...I could get lost there.) and picked up some stationery for me & a little "Why I Love You" Journal for us. (It's super fun!)

Also, I'm not sure if you're familiar with the brand Julep, but if not, you must check them out! I receive a box every Month with 4 or so new items. I just got some nail polish that I adore.
