I'm tapping the keys on my laptop a little harder- just so I can hear that soothing "click, tap, tap, click" sound. I have a coffee close by, a candle lit, and a soft blanket cuddling my toes.

 

This Movie always inspires me.

So here are a few photos of different items that completely inspire to write, create, and dream.

Perfume Bottles as Vases- genius, right?! It's feminine & chic- I love it. It's so interesting to me how the best ideas are often the simplest. And then I find myself face palming because I didn't think of it...by myself. :)

 

Using light bulbs for unique light fixtures. I've been trying to get in touch with my creative outlet-buried somewhere deep, deep inside. I'd like to try a light bulb fixture. Maybe above a desk or an armchair?

 

Colorful, domed doors. 

I. Love. Doors.

They're what you see just before entering a home. It gives you a subconscious expectation of what awaits beyond it. 

Someday, I will have a colorful- fantastic door.

 

Simple office spaces.

When I blog, begin a 'novel', edit photos...I like spaces that are bright & natural. Organized & fresh. (I love the desk from "Somethings Gotta Give")

Wonderful.

I spent a good amount of time catching glimpses of the Olympics (Go USA!), cuddling with fur babes (as usual!), and spending much needed time with my Husband.

We're also working on making some fairly large changes in our lives. Re-prioritizing and getting where we want to be at this point in our lives. I'm super nervous & also very excited. If you think of it, I'd love it if you'd say a little prayer that we allow Christ to lead the way, fully. (So hard sometimes, right?!)

Hubs & I about to enjoy a Starbucks brunch- and I caught Kyle mid prayer.  And yes, he was praying silently to himself. I wasn't peeking ;)

It's an incredible example to me of Christ's love. That He's given me a Husband that I often feel so un-deserving of. But not only that, I'm so thankful for a Husband who strives to lead our Marriage, God's way.

Fleurs.

I absolutely adore fresh flowers. They brighten up my worst of days and the messiest of rooms. :)

There's nothing quite like turning the corner to see your Sweet holding a bouquet of flowers just because, either.  But even if you don't have a Sweet of your own, go buy some flowers for yourself! Flowers do the same duty, regardless of who puts them in the vase. :)
