I was delayed in contemplating what I'd like out of the Year 2013.
Actually, I hadn't even given it any thought until I began reading post after post on Facebook.
Our NYE was spent taking turns coughing, exchanging raspy "I Love Yous"- and discussing what we would like to change/happen in this next Year.
I didn't want to set up any "resolutions"- because I think it's silly.
And I never follow through.
Instead, I searched for inspiration.
And found it in a nail polish, in fact.
I opened my Julep Maven Box this Month & discovered two dangerously awesome colors.
Mindy & Bethany.
When I applied Mindy, a neutral with a hint of pink- I knew immediately that it would be my 2013 inspiration.
It's pure, classy, and uncomplicated.

I absolutely love white-ish nali polish colors. They are my favorite and go-tos. I'll wear fun colors but I always go back to these type of colors for anything important.

I love that nail polish color! I have a netural that I've worn every day since I got it during the summer. I think I've only changed it up once or twice (natural colors are my favorite). I need to do my nails today and am thinking of something a little different like OPI "lucerine-tainly look marvelous" (a silver-ey sparkle) or "austin-tatious turquoise" (a blueish sparkle/pearlescent). I think the silver is more "new years" ish, even though it's over . I just can't decide which! Haha.

oh man, i really love that you've found inspiration for the new year through nail polish. as a makeup/products lover myself, i find this highly inspiring! i'm going to have to keep this in mind - hopefully i can find some ideas for my new year through all of my products!
